Apples and Bananas

This is a tune that one can use for vowel games. It's the same tune, the same words, but in each verse the major vowel sound changes. Gets to be nonsense, but it does illustrate the inportance of good diction.

8 8 -8 7 7 7
I like to eat, eat, eat,

8 -8 8 -9 8 -8
Apples and bananas.

-8 -8 7 -7 -7 -7
I like to eat, eat, eat,

-8 7 -8 8 -8 7
Apples and bananas.

Verse 2:
change all vowels to
the "long a" e.g. eat becomes ate
  banana becomes baynaynay

Verse 3:
all vowels become the "long i"
  e.g. eat becomes eyete, etc/

Verse 4:
all vowels become the "long o"
  e.g. eat becomes oat.

Verse 5:
all vowels become the "long u"
  e.g. eat becomes oot.
This can be carried out through
all the "short vowels" as well.
