Email account - Netscape 6
Windows


Open Mail and Newsgroups using one of the following steps:
  • If Netscape is not open, click Start -> Programs -> Netscape 6 -> Mail & Newsgroups



    •
  • If Netscape is open, click Tasks-> Mail and Newsgroups.

  • Click Edit -> Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings....

Account Settings
  • To create a new account click Add Account and follow wizard.




    •
New Account Setup
  • Select Email Account.
  • Click Next.



Identity
  • Your Name: Enter name to appear in the From field of outgoing mail.

    •
  • Email Address: Type in your Volcano email address.
  • Click Next.



Server Information
  • Select the type of incoming server you are using: Leave selection on POP.
  • Incoming Server: pop.volcano.net
  • Outgoing Server: mail.volcano.net
  • Click Next.



Username
  • Type in your Volcano email address.
  • Click Next



Account Name
  • This is just a title. You can leave as it is or change to whatever you would like.
  • Click Next.



Congratulations
  • Confirm settings and click Finish.
