Email account - Netscape 6



Open Mail and Newsgroups using one of the following steps:
  • If Netscape is not open, click Start -> Programs -> Netscape 6 -> Mail.

  • If Netscape is open, click Tasks -> Mail and Newsgroups


Click Edit -> Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings.


  • To create a new account click on the New Account button.



New Account Setup
  • Select ISP or email provider.
  • Click Next.


Identity
  • Your Name: Enter name to appear in the From field of outgoing mail.

    •
  • Email Address: Volcano email address.
  • Click Next.


Server Information
  • Incoming Server - Leave the selection on POP. Server Name: pop.volcano.net

    •
  • Outgoing Server - Server Name: mail.volcano.net
  • Click Next.


Username
  • Type in your Volcano username.
  • Click Next.


Account Name
  • This is just a title for the account settings. You can leave as is or change to whatever you would like.
  • Click Next.


Congratulations
  • Confirm settings and click Finish.
