Netscape 4.7 Setting up with Profile Manager


  • To get to the Profile Manager click on Start ->Programs -> Netscape Communicator -> Utilities -> User Profile Manager.


    • *Windows XP - Click Start -> All Programs -> Netscape Communicator ->…
  • Click on New to start creating the Profile.

  • Click Next at the intro screen.

  • Enter in Name and email address in appropriate fields. Click Next.

  • Enter in Profile Name. Name of the person using this profile is fine. Leave path of stored files the same. Click Next.

  • Enter in Outgoing Mail Server: mail.volcano.net. Click Next.






    •
  • Enter in user name in mail server user name field. For Incoming mail server: pop.volcano.net. Click Next.

  • If using news groups, enter in news.volcano.net for news server name. If not using newsgroups, leave field blank and click Finish.
