Outlook Express 5 - Macintosh
If you have already gone throught
the Internet Setup Assistant for MacOS 8 or 9, and set up your email account,
then you do not need to go through these steps. Follow these steps if you
have created your connection manually, or if you are setting up an additional
email account.

- Open Outlook Express. Click on Tools
and then Accounts.
- Click New, and then click Mail.
This will take you into the Account Setup Assistant.
Your Name
- Type your name in the Display Name
field.
Click on the right arrow to continue.
- Type in your Volcano email address in the
E-mail Address field.
Click on the right arrow.
- My Incoming mail server is a(n) POP server
- Incoming mail (POP, IMAP) server: pop.volcano.net
- Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: mail.volcano.net
Click on the right arrow.
- Account ID: Your Volcano username
- Password: Your Volcano password
- Check the Save Password box if you would
like your Mac to remember your email password.
Click on the right arrow.
- All you have to do here is enter in a name
for the email account. This name can be anything you would like, for instance
My Email or Volcano Email. This name is only for display purposes and
does not have to be anything specific. Click on Finish to complete the
setup.
