When someone sends an email to your address it goes to our incoming mail server where it is stored until you download it to your computer. Volcano Webmail allows you to view your account on the server, before mail is received on your computer. From here you can read messages that have been sent to you, compose new messages, reply and forward messages, and delete messages. To get to your account on webmail, open up a browser (such as Internet Explorer or Netscape) and type webmail.volcano.net in the address bar, or just click on the webmail link. Make sure you leave out the www that normally comes before internet web addresses. At the login screen type in your username and password for the email account. Your username is what comes before @volcano.net in your email address. After you click on Login, you will be taken to the Inbox screen. This is where you will see the email messages on the server waiting to be downloaded. What You Can Do The interface in webmail is fairly simple and easy to learn how to use. To read a message, just click on either the sender or the subject of the email. If you want to send a new email, click on the Compose link near the top of the page and you will then see a New Message page where you can type out your email. It is very helpful and informative and you will get a basic understanding on using webmail.
